2023 Review
The year Essbe Jewelry Supply was founded, 2023! Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined the support and growth I have received since launching. In order to understand where we are today, I want to take you back a year to this time last year. Over the years, I had dreamed of starting a wholesale business. Despite not knowing what the business would be called, I spent countless hours researching, creating, and planning for its launch. It was clear to me that I wanted to supply jewelry entrepreneurs with the tools & high-quality supplies that I look for when shopping for my own business. My anticipation and excitement were high as I looked forward to the "perfect" launch day. Days turned into months, and I finally realized there is never going to be a "perfect" time to start another business so I just set the Essbe Jewelry Supply website to live and you all started supporting this dream!
As I look back on the year, it is amazing how much we accomplished with EJS! During May, Jenna and I traveled to Las Vegas to attend the very first permanent jewelry trade show, called PJX. Those three days were nothing short of insanity and there is no way I could have done it without her. As a result of the event, we were able to meet a lot of incredible business owners and network with other people in the industry. It was exactly what I needed to pour into the community for those 3 days. It gave me everything I needed to move forward in the business and make plans to take a HUGE step in the business!
Our summer months were filled with expanding our offerings to ready-to-wear jewelry, building out a second storefront that allowed more wholesale space, and planning to manufacture our own charms (!!!). It was an exciting, fun, and busy time for me that was truly challenging. After returning from PJX, I wanted to build a permanent jewelry community and help support fellow entrepreneurs. As the fall approached, I officially launched the Permanent Jewelry Business Mastermind. This is a 6-week session where we will discuss all things business! With my individualized guidance, I am able to help fellow jewelry entrepreneurs achieve success and scale their permanent jewelry businesses.
A few weeks into the 6-week PJ Business Mastermind session, I finally received the official ship date for our brand-new machine that would allow us to manufacture our own charms. Having the opportunity to announce what I had planned for EJS to the group before anyone else was really exciting! It gave me extra motivation and reassurance to know that what we can offer to jewelry business owners will be valuable to them. It wasn't long after that that the machine was delivered and training and testing began!
By the end of 2023, I was finally able to launch letter & shape charms! Over a year went into this project, and it was amazing to see it come to fruition. I am eagerly anticipating what 2024 will bring! My plans are already big, and I can't wait to share them with you very soon! With this new launch, I am confident that EJS can make an even greater impact in 2024.
